Alaskan malamute owners fined thousands for attack on shih tzu
ALAMEDA, Wash. — An Alaskan Malamute owner has been fined $1,000 for a frightening attack on the small terrier.
Alaska Fish and Game officials said they made the decision to issue the fine after two malamutes, named Tala and Ba바카라mbino, went in search of food and water on May 23 after being attacked from a nearby trailhead by a hare and a pike trap.
The attack killed Tala, one of the pair and resulted in multiple injuries on Bambino, who the fish and game officials said sustained five brok바카라en bones after being stuck beneath the water for approximately 30 seconds.
Alaska Fish and Game is asking for the public’s help identifying the culprits and collecting evidence to identify if there are any unclaim우리카지노ed pets or other unwanted animals.
“I can tell you that the incident that is currently being investigated by the fish and game biologists is very distressing and a concern,” said Bill Wilson, Alaska Fish and Game biologist. “No one deserves to be a victim of a crime, and the penalties we are offering are meant to protect animals and their habitats, not the guilty parties, and bear that in mind when making our decisions regarding animal welfare and human safety.”
